How is hrPLANR different from Zoho People, Keka, or GreytHR?

Three things, mainly. First — AI is native to the product, not a bolted-on chatbot. It flags payroll variances inside the payroll cycle, scores resumes inside the ATS, answers HR questions inside Slack.

What does "Built for India" actually mean?

Specifically: PF ECR generation, ESI returns, PT slab-wise calculation, TDS 24Q with Form 16 generation, gratuity per the 1972 Act, POSH 2013 committee management and annual returns, DPDP Act 2023 compliant data handling, in-region AI inference (no data leaves India), and 7-year statutory archival.

Filed on the due date, every cycle. If a compliance requirement is unique to India, it's covered out of the box.

Where does my data live?

In India. Specifically, AWS Mumbai and Hyderabad regions for primary storage, with replication for redundancy.

AI inference also happens in-region — your employee data is not sent to inference endpoints outside India. This matters for DPDP Act 2023 compliance, and for sectors where data residency is a contractual requirement.

Can I migrate from my current HRMS?

Yes — importers exist for the platforms most Indian companies are leaving behind: Zoho People, Keka, GreytHR, Darwinbox, BambooHR, and generic CSV/Excel.
